BETTER HOMES AND GARDENS
She also rotates art, including the
watercolors Gabriel paints on his
easel in the playroom. His paintings
get prime billing in his bedroom. “A
child’s space should reflect the child.”
For now, the entire home reflects
a lot of child. “Gabriel has influenced
our home in every way,” Kendra says.
As Gabriel grows, she knows her
home is in for more changes. “It’s like
a challenge that can be solved in a
variety of ways,” she says. “There’s no
one permanent solution. Our home
changes as our lifestyle evolves.”
CHILD’S PLAY
Formerly the couple’s
sitting room, the sunny
enclosed porch is now
Gabriel’s domain. “We

clearly defined so
toys aren’t flowing
everywhere,” Kendra
says. “He knows this
is his space.” The kid-
height cabinets are
stylish enough to be
used in other rooms
down the road.
DOUBLED UP
